Who we are

Yew Tree Farm School is an independent special school based in a rural farm setting. We provide a nurturing, structured environment where children and young people can learn, develop confidence and build positive relationships through a balance of education, therapeutic support and outdoor learning.

We work with pupils who have autism spectrum conditions and social, emotional and mental health needs, many of whom have struggled to thrive in mainstream or other specialist settings. Our provision is designed to be calm, relational and highly individualised, with a strong emphasis on wellbeing, safety and consistency.

Placements at the school are funded by Local Authorities and are accessed through referral.
Primary School
Alternative Provision
Our primary provision supports children of primary school age who require a specialist, nurturing environment to access education successfully.

• A curriculum adapted to meet individual needs
• A strong focus on emotional regulation and wellbeing
• Learning through practical, outdoor and farm-based activities
We also offer Alternative Provision for children and young people who are not currently accessing full-time education.
